In the capital, a move is rarely stopped by the furniture — it is stopped at the door, by a missing move permit or an unbooked service lift. We deal with that part for you. From the towers of Reem Island and the Corniche to villas in Khalifa City, Al Reef and Mohammed Bin Zayed City, we survey first, clear the building paperwork, hand you one itemised written price, then dismantle, pack, load and rebuild everything where you want it.

What we move

Moving services across Abu Dhabi

Six services handled by one crew and one point of contact, from a studio on Reem Island to a full villa in Khalifa City or an office floor on Al Maryah. Tell us what you have and we will tell you exactly what the job needs.

Apartment & tower moving

The towers of Reem Island, the Corniche, Al Khalidiyah and Al Maryah run on move permits, security approval and booked service lifts, with set hours for the work. We arrange all of it before the day, then start inside the approved window so nobody is turned back at reception.

Villa moving

Villas in Khalifa City, Al Reef, Al Raha Gardens, Shakhbout City and Mohammed Bin Zayed City bring deep majlis seating, long dining sets, chandeliers, fitted wardrobes and garden furniture. A larger crew and more than one truck keep it to a single day.

Office & corporate relocation

Government departments, ADGM offices on Al Maryah, Masdar City, embassies in Al Bateen and warehouses in Mussafah. We work evenings and weekends, number everything to the new floor plan, and hand the space back ready to use.

Furniture moving & assembly

A single piece or a whole villa. We dismantle, move and rebuild with the original screws and fittings, documenting each step so nothing goes missing between addresses.

Professional packing

Double-wall cartons, bubble wrap, stretch film, corner guards and wardrobe boxes, all included. Every box is labelled with the room it belongs to in the new home, so unpacking is quick instead of guesswork.

Short & long-term storage

Handover dates and posting dates rarely line up. Clean, dry, monitored storage by the week or the month, with a written inventory and your own copy of everything in and out.

Always included

What comes with every move in Abu Dhabi

This is what the price covers. Nothing here is an extra we raise at your door, and the building paperwork is part of the service rather than something you are left to chase. Our Partner are are also doing Packers and movers in Abu Dhabi.

Why Noor Al Shams

Why Abu Dhabi customers choose us

The six reasons our Abu Dhabi customers give most often when they call us again, or pass our number to a colleague.

We clear the building paperwork

Move permit, NOC, security approval and the service-lift slot are arranged before the day, and we tell you upfront if your tower asks for a refundable lift deposit. No crew turned away at reception, no move rescheduled over a form.

One price, agreed before we start

We survey first so the number is real. No fuel charge, no permit handling fee, no lift or floor charge produced at the door, and no rounding up at the end. The quote is the invoice.

Our own trained crew

The same uniformed, insured team every time, briefed on your home and your building before they arrive. We do not hand the job to day labour hired that morning.

Written damage cover

Goods-in-transit cover on every move, and a written note of any mark that was already there before we lift a single piece.

Island and mainland, equally

From lift bookings on Reem Island and the Corniche to villa gate access in Al Reef and Khalifa City, the bridges out to Yas and Saadiyat and the run down to Mussafah, the logistics are ours to solve.

English & Arabic, one point of contact

One coordinator from the first call to the last box, so you are never passed between numbers or asked to explain your move twice.

Packed apartment furniture ready to move in an Abu Dhabi tower

Apartment & tower shifting in Abu Dhabi

Most apartment moves in the capital are in managed towers — Reem Island, Marina Square, the Corniche, Al Khalidiyah and Al Maryah. These buildings do not simply let a truck arrive: they want a move permit and NOC on file, the service lift booked to a slot, and the work kept inside approved hours. Get that wrong and the move does not happen that day.

We submit the move permit and NOC and book the service lift before the day, and confirm it in writing.
We tell you in advance whether your building requires a refundable lift deposit, so it is never a surprise at reception.
The crew works inside the approved window, with lift walls, corridors and door frames protected.
Kitchen contents travel in purpose-made dish boxes, and beds and wardrobes are rebuilt the same evening.

Villa movers in Abu Dhabi

Villas in Khalifa City, Al Reef, Al Raha Gardens, Shakhbout City and Mohammed Bin Zayed City are a different job from a flat: deep majlis seating, oversized dining tables, chandeliers, wardrobes fixed into the walls, and a garden that also has to be packed.

A larger crew and more than one truck, so a full villa is finished in one day rather than three.
Chandeliers, mirrors and glass tops are crated in timber instead of simply wrapped.
Marble and parquet floors are covered with protection boards before anything crosses them.
Garden furniture, shades and play sets are dismantled, cleaned and packed with the rest of the home.
Office and company equipment move in Abu Dhabi

Office movers in Abu Dhabi

Government departments, ADGM firms on Al Maryah Island, Masdar City offices, embassies around Al Bateen and warehouses in Mussafah all work to schedules that cannot absorb a lost day, so we run these moves in the evening or across the weekend.

Every desk, chair and cabinet is numbered against the new floor plan before it is lifted.
Servers, screens and IT equipment are wrapped in anti-static material, loaded last and unloaded first.
Files and records stay in order — drawers are taped shut and carried upright rather than emptied into boxes.
Building access, loading bays and after-hours permissions are arranged with facilities management in advance.

Answers

Questions people ask our movers in Abu Dhabi

If your question is not answered here, message us on WhatsApp — you will get a straight answer from a person rather than a form to fill in first.

How much does moving cost in Abu Dhabi?

It depends on how much furniture there is, which floor you are on, whether there is a service lift, the distance between the two addresses, and how much of the packing you want us to handle. A studio on Reem Island is a very different job from a five-bedroom villa in Khalifa City. Rather than guess over the phone we survey first — by WhatsApp video or at your door — and then give you one written price that stays the same on moving day.

Do you arrange the move-in and move-out permit and the building NOC?

Yes, and in Abu Dhabi this is the part that most often derails a move, so we treat it as our job rather than yours. Managed towers generally want a move permit and an NOC on file before they will let a crew work, along with security approval and the move kept inside set hours. We contact management, submit the paperwork and confirm the slot in writing before the day. Give us the building name and your unit at the survey and we handle the rest.

What about the service lift, and the deposit some towers ask for?

We book the service lift to a specific slot so it is held for you rather than occupied when the crew arrives. Many Abu Dhabi towers also ask the resident for a refundable deposit or cheque against lift and common-area damage — that is the building’s requirement, not a charge from us. We check what your tower asks for and tell you upfront, so you can arrange it in advance instead of discovering it at reception on moving day.

Do you provide the packing materials, or do I buy them?

We bring everything and it is included in the price: double-wall cartons, bubble wrap, stretch film, corner guards, mattress covers and wardrobe boxes. If you would rather pack some things yourself, say so at the survey and we will price the job on that basis.

How far ahead should I book?

Two to four days secures the slot you want for the move itself. If you are in a managed tower, give us a little more notice where you can — permits, NOCs and lift bookings take a day or two to come back, and that timing is usually what decides the date rather than our availability. Month-end and weekends are the busiest. Same-day and next-day moves are often still possible for villas and smaller buildings, so it is worth calling to ask.

Do you dismantle and reassemble the furniture, and is it insured?

Both are included. Beds, wardrobes, majlis seating, dining tables, desks, TV mounts and curtain rails are taken apart and put back together, with the screws bagged and taped to each piece so nothing is lost between homes. Every move carries goods-in-transit cover, and we record any existing marks in writing before we start. If you have high-value pieces such as artwork, antiques or a piano, mention them at the survey so we crate and cover them properly.

Do you move to the islands and the mainland, and between Abu Dhabi and Dubai or Al Ain?

Yes to all of it. We move daily between the island, Yas, Saadiyat, Al Maryah, Al Raha and the mainland districts of Khalifa City, Mohammed Bin Zayed City, Al Shamkha and Mussafah, planning the bridge routes and timings in advance. Abu Dhabi to Dubai and Al Ain are among our most frequent long-haul runs, with the distance inside the quote rather than added afterwards, and the same crew that packs your home unloads it at the other end.
